Situation Ethics

Situation ethics is a teleological theory within normative ethics, which is concerned with working out how people should interact with one another for the purpose of promoting the most loving outcomes within society. This course covers the context of situation ethics; biblical examples of it; the ideas of key thinkers (e.g. John Robinson and Joseph Fletcher); applying and evaluating the theory; and the legal, social, and religious perspectives in the area. This course is designed for anyone interested in situation ethics; however, it's specifically linked to specification content for the following qualifications.
