A Level: Edexcel

A brief introduction to social ethics, including what it is and how it's approached, how the approaches work, and why it's important. This lesson locates social ethics as a branch of applied ethics, and explains its relationship to other branches. Additionally, it covers the principle of equality in detail, three ways of interpreting it (numerical, proportional, and moral), and two ways of approaching social ethics (pre-Enlightenment and post-Enlightenment).
