An analysis of debates in social ethics, including what they are, how they work, and why they're important. This lesson covers the debates about whether or not equality is a fundamental ethical principle, what type of equality societies should pursue (e.g. equality of opportunity or equality of outcome), and how societies should promote the application of either type of equality in order to address social issues like sexism, racism, and ableism.
